Quick Start

Open an overview map, select a character, and try an outfit before integrating the equipment into your game.

Preview the pack#

Find these maps under /Game/ROG_Modular_Assets/Maps:

Pack Map
Armor ROG_Armor_Overview
Accessories & Robes ROG_Accessories_Overview
Clothing ROG_Clothing_Overview

Wait for shader compilation, then press Play. Tab toggles the equipment selector. Choose the character first, then its equipment and demo animation. Use the mouse wheel to adjust the demo camera zoom.

The galleries group material variants on shared display plinths. Labels identify the model and its material/texture usage.

Migrate into your project#

  1. Select the meshes you need, or the pack's master catalog: DT_Armor, DT_Accessories, or DT_Clothing.
  2. Choose Asset Actions → Migrate and keep the required dependencies in the Asset Report.
  3. Select your project's Content directory.
  4. Check the imported meshes, materials and table references.

Item tables include soft references to available Static Mesh equivalents. These references were checked through migration into a clean UE 5.1 project. Catalog migration does not include the overview maps or DT_Characters; migrate the demo map as well when you need the complete example.

Use your release's supported Unreal version. Migration does not install code plugins. Keep your custom Blueprints and materials in a separate folder so future updates can be installed safely.

Epic: migrating assets.
